Welcome/Bienvenidos!

The 2010 season of our Festival is now here!C Wilshere
We have an exciting line-up of concerts and are thrilled to be bringing down some of Canada’s finest talents once again for an exciting ten-day musical journey in one of the worlds most beautiful venues, Ajijic Mexico.

As always we are looking at ways to expand our efforts to provide educational exposure and master classes to Mexican music students. As part of this, we are pleased to advise the Northern Lights Annual 'Concurso de Violin' took place in Guadalajara in February, 2010. We would like to thank long-time residents of Ajijic, Allan and Norine Rose, for their support and sponsorship of this first annual violin competition, which was a tremendous success.

I look forward to seeing you at our concerts!!

Christopher Wilshere
Artistic and Organizing Director

The Festival's long lasting strength comes from its patrons. Their continued support is the “back-bone” for the quality of performances that we put on every year. We encourage you all to take a look at becoming a patron and experience the festival in its entirety. You wouldn’t want to miss out on our famous “Tea Time” concerts, or get a chance to rub shoulders with some of Canada’s most talented young stars at our patron’s party after opening night!

Please consider becoming a Patron of the Festival at one of three levels. As a Patron you attend the concerts and donate a small amount to the Festival's educational efforts (details below).

As an incentive to become a Friend of the Festival, Conductor's Circle or Visionary, we offer each of you a chance to win one of several valuable prizes!
